Heathcote's finest winemakers will converge in Brisbane mid September to present 'Heathcote: The Modern Face of Ancient Soils'.
As well as Heathcote's famous shiraz, this tasting on Tuesday 14th September also showcases a range of varieties from the region, including petit verdot, tempranillo and grenache noir, celebrating of the diversity of this unique wine region. Wine lovers, sommeliers, restaurateurs and retailers will have the opportunity to chat with winemakers, as well as meet with new producers who will be showing their wares in Brisbane for the first time.
Those working in the wine trade have the opportunity to attend a masterclass, 'Heathcote Horizontal - Heathcote Shiraz and the Rest of the World,' examining Heathcote shiraz in comparison with benchmark wines from across the globe. The masterclass will be hosted by Ben Edwards, President of Sommeliers Australia.
